Entry requirements There are four points of entry into ICM. These entry points are: Entry point 1 If you do not meet ICM’s minimum English language entry criterion, you may choose to enrol in the University of Manitoba's English Language Centre, here at University of Manitoba, to improve your English language proficiency. ICM staff will discuss such arrangements with you on an individual basis. Entry point 2 If you only marginally do not satisfy ICM’s minimum English language entry criteria, you – in your first semester of enrolment at ICM – will be enrolled in the ICM Mixed Program. Entry point 3 UTP Stage I. This program is designed specifically for students who require additional academic support prior to commencing the full degree-equivalent program (referred to below as UTP Stage II). Entry point 4 UTP Stage II. This program is equivalent to Year 1 of selected degree programs of the University of Manitoba. Completion of UTP Stage II requires you to have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.0 and satisfy relevant entry requirements to progress to the University of Manitoba with a minimum of 30 credit hours of standing. Under normal circumstances, these 10 courses would be completed over two semesters. |
