The University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage 2 in Science provides the foundation courses that lead to further studies in the areas of: Biological, Physical, Mathematical and Computing Sciences.

  • Introduction to University
  • Computer Usage


Introduction to these Sciences during your UTP Stage 2 studies will enable you to choose more wisely your preferred major when you progress to second year of the Bachelor degree at the University of Manitoba. Registration in an Honours or Major program in the Faculty of Science may require additional courses in the chosen subject area to be completed prior to entering the program.

You must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.0 upon successful completion of your UTP Stage 2 program and satisfy relevant entry requirements to progress to the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Science with a minimum of 30 credit hours of advanced standing.
Access to selected faculties of the university may require the completion of certain prerequisites and/or a higher GPA.
ICM will counsel students individually in this regard.
