ICM regularly reviews its admission requirements and related English language requirements. Students wanting to submit TOEFL scores should request that originals be sent to ICM directly quoting Institution Code 6961.

English language preparation

If you do not meet the minimum English language requirements for your desired program at ICM, you may choose to enrol at the University of Manitoba's English Language Centre in the Intensive Academic English Program (IAEP) to improve your proficiency.

Intensive Academic English Program (IAEP)

The IAEP provides English language training for university-bound international students. Students can enjoy the experience of studying English in person, remotely or hybrid. Program intakes are offered in January, May and September.

Upon successful completion of the appropriate level at the IAEP, you will be eligible to enter ICM without any further English tests, either directly into UTP Stage I, UTP Stage II or a mixed-entry program. ICM staff can assist you with the application process. To learn more, visit IAEP’s website.
