Extended International Year One
This program is designed for international students who meet higher academic standards than our Foundation (UTP Stage I) program but aren’t quite ready for International Year One (UTP Stage II).
Students will complete one term of Foundation courses with the necessary grades and then move straight into their International Year One (UTP Stage II) program – getting them to their degree faster than if they started in Foundation.

Our team will review your academic transcripts and offer you the right program to set you up for success and a smooth transition to the second year at the University of Manitoba.
Minimum requirements to enrol in International Year One (UTP Stage II) courses
Extended International Year One is designed to prepare students for entry to university-level programs. In order to enrol in to International Year One (UTP Stage II) courses, students are required to first successfully complete four Foundation (UTP Stage I) courses with a minimum standing as specified below.

*Students need a minimum of 70% in each of CHM 100, PHY 100 and MTH 103 and a 75% average in these three subjects.
Students must also meet the required prerequisite(s), if applicable.
